Now this is serious stuff. There aren't many albums like this one, so well crafted, with a great equilibrium between two evocative instrumental tracks (1 & 3) and two mesmerizing songs (2 & 4). All works like a charm!
Solid and nuanced work, plenty of kosmische beauty and ambient, kraut splendor.
Beware with the impressive Himmelfahrten piece, it's very addictive!!!
Bravo!

Fantastic record. Reebop Kwaaku Bah (later Can) drops Lee Scratch Perry-esque vocals on 4 tracks; Jaki Liebzeit (Can legend) contributes bongos on the no-slouch killer groove "Strom". Damo Suzuki would join for their following three LPs,, yet this one is arguably their best, even without him: German art rock / reggae / funk / world best / experimental / avant-garde (etc.) at its finest. And a sunny summery vibe as well (no dark wave here). 4.5/5 woolynigel
Sweden's Catharina Jaunviksna, aka Badlands, creates gently glowing '80s-inspired pop - think of it as new wave in pastel rather than neon. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 2, 2021
