Amazing from start to finish. Sort of like encountering Harry Smith's Anthology of American Folk Music for the first time, it's like stepping off a spiral staircase into the deep end of a whole 'nother universe of mysteries. "Triptik 2", the closer, is one of the most jaw-droppingly strange/hypnotic collisions of jazz, electronica, psychedelia and WTF I've ever heard - and yet it somehow works. Bought both volumes just on the strength of the first one & hoping there are many more to be issued. rocketmorton

Profoundly uncomfortable listening. You'll likely miss most of the spoken word elements during the first spin, partly because of the raw and heavily accented delivery, and partly because the few snippets you'll notice are so appalling and abject that you may fear closer scrutiny. Both somehow barbaric and transcendental in a way too few industrial bands can match nowadays. Ben Harris
This terrific Finnish group offers churning post-punk draped in shadow with occasional dips into shoegaze and drone. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 25, 2023
There's lots of depth and sunken low-end to the spiraling space rock made by Mint Field, augmented with twinkling electronic flourishes. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 14, 2023
Neo-psychedelia made from hypnotic loops and delayed guitars for fans of Brian Eno, Tame Impala, and Melody's Echo Chamber. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 1, 2023

I was elated to order a copy of this from Bureau B. However, both LPs arrived with a warp that affected the first track on all four sides. I reached out to Bureau B about a replacement and received no response, which made me really sad. I hope to own a playable copy of this album someday. Alan Westfall
